In the previous post for this column, I talked about this site and some of the growing pains I was going through as a site owner and content creator on multiple platforms.
It’s more work than most people realize. Not only that, it’s hard work.
Well, I’m happy to say those growing pains are pretty much gone.
While the last month has been crazy busy, it’s also been glorious. Read on for the full story.
Somehow, some way, people are finding my content. And for the most part, they seem to be enjoying it.
Of the few people who’ve had something negative to say, I was able to connect with them and change their minds, at least to a degree.
This is what I love most about being a digital creator. I get to communicate with the people who like my content and the people who don’t. I love constructive criticism and I take it pretty well.
I think this is, at least partially, making people come back to my channel over and over again.
I still have plenty of work to do. My MTG videos are what’s bringing folks in. My podcast and other gaming videos aren’t nearly as popular. I’m hoping that as time goes by, more and more people will find the MTG content and then continue to hang out for the other content I’m providing.
I Love It
I admit it. There were times when I first started streaming that I was pretty salty. MTG is an expensive hobby and I wasn’t getting a lot of love right off the bat.
Luckily, I got over it.
It took a while for me to get the hang of being on camera, talking to myself on occasion, and dedicated myself to a streaming schedule.
Now don’t get me wrong. That schedule could very well change. All of it could change. Nothing lasts forever, right?
But for now, I’m loving every single stream that I run. More and more people are coming in and saying “hi” and chatting for a bit. It’s amazing.
I feel like a real boy. So to everyone out there that has watched a video, watched a stream, followed me on social media or Twitch or subscribed on YouTube, thank you. From the bottom of my heart. You have no idea just how much it means to me.
Aside from the holiday break, where I went out of town and got food poisoning, I’ve been streaming 4 days a week. It’s hard not to stream every single day, especially with the way the stream and YouTube channels are growing.

I want to run more streams, longer streams, better streams.
I do quite a bit of “research”. Heh. I watch other streamers to educate myself on what makes for an entertaining stream.
But I’ve branched out from this as well. I study all entertainers now.
What makes for a great one? Energy. You come out with energy and want to have fun and show you enjoy what you do and others will feed off of it and you can feed off of theirs.
It’s a beautiful thing. I look forward to doing more of it.
Thanks for stopping by and hanging out with The Digital Worm.
And thanks again for consuming and enjoying the content.
